Meet The Board Members

Jeremy Foley is a cybersecurity professional with a background in system administration, application security, and cloud infrastructure. He brings over two decades of technical experience and is one of the founders of RGV Cyber, where he leads efforts to grow an inclusive cybersecurity community in the Rio Grande Valley.

Matthew is a security analyst with a focus on blue team operations, protecting customers across a range of industries including aviation, education, local government, and industrial sectors.  He is an active member of RGV Cyber, a contributor to BSidesRGV, and committed to growing the security community in the Rio Grande Valley.  He can be found online as offensive_torta.

Armando Villarreal serves as a board member for RGV Cyber and is a dedicated security analyst supporting Texas public education. With most of his professional experience rooted in the education sector, he brings a deep understanding of the unique challenges schools face in securing their digital environments. His work focuses on endpoint protection, network defense, and vulnerability management. As a board member, Armando is committed to advancing cybersecurity education and helping build a stronger security posture across the region.

Jeanie Foley is a self-driven entrepreneur who has owned and operated two businesses, specializing in website design, product sales, and digital marketing. With a hands-on approach to branding, customer engagement, and accounting, she brings a strong foundation in business operations and strategy. Jeanie is also a co-founder of RGV Cyber, a nonprofit advancing cybersecurity education and community engagement in the Rio Grande Valley.
